Max Richter
Max Richter is widely regarded as one of the most visionary voices in contemporary music. He is also the co-founder of Studio Richter Mahr, a creative space he shares with his partner, artist Yulia Mahr. His groundbreaking eight-hour composition SLEEP is the most streamed classical album of all time and will mark its 10th anniversary in 2025.
Max’s music has shaped the emotional landscape of acclaimed films and television series including The Leftovers, The Last of Us, Shutter Island, and Spaceman. His work extends beyond screen and stage—he’s collaborated with Kim Jones to craft the soundscape for a Dior fashion show, and composed the score for a ballet by Wayne McGregor in collaboration with author Margaret Atwood.
Currently, Max is on a global tour with his latest album, In a Landscape, continuing to captivate audiences around the world.
