Saatchi Yates
Saatchi Yates is a commercial gallery founded by Phoebe Saatchi Yates and Arthur Yates, debuting in London’s Mayfair in October 2020. Since launch, the gallery has gained acclaim for its programme dedicated to emerging artists and presentation of blue-chip contemporary art, drawn from leading private collections. In January 2023, Saatchi Yates relocated to St James’s - London’s unrivalled neighbourhood for both Contemporary and Classical art.
The Bury Street gallery spans 12,000 sqft with a lateral exhibition space dedicated to their emerging artists, and dramatic private rooms for secondary market presentations. Alongside its artist programme, Saatchi Yates presents historically significant shows that bring together works by leading Post-War & Contemporary Artists. In March 2023, the gallery launched Saatchi Yates Masters - a new division specialising in sourcing masterpieces from the 18th Century to the Mid-20th Century, spearheaded by Joseph Friedman.
Alongside the London programme, Saatchi Yates has staged a series of successful international shows across Europe and the US. The first saw a temporary space in Turin, Italy in 2021 with a group show of represented artists. In 2022, the gallery hosted an exhibition at Chateau Saint Maur, South of France followed by a solo exhibition in Miami’s Design District by celebrated Contemporary Artist Tesfaye Urgessa, coinciding with his presentation at the Rubell Museum.
